When I was younger I took a hike from Georgia to Maine. Now well over a decade later I reflect back on that hike regularly. One of the key take aways for me has been the realization that often the things worth doing are the things that take consistent and committed effort. There are no shortcuts.
Having spent over the last 4 years of my life at early stage startups, I can attest that this holds true for business as well. Where I once woke up with the rising sun every day to pack my bag and continue hiking where I left off the day before, I now drink a lot of coffee and relentlessly drive ideas forward toward reality.
