An illustrated six-petal white flower with a golden center, rising above a small patch of grass.

A little detour

October 7, 2026

Our oldest noticed these on the walk into school. Glad he made me stop and look.

Brush through the grass. There’s something in there.

Keyboard: arrows to brush, Enter to part, Escape to start over.

Older: Chicken, in bricks

An occasional journal

Something to keep.

A moment at home, a thought that sticks, something I’m making. I write a short note, then pair it with a photograph or a visual interpretation.

The moments are real. The images can be photographs or interpretations. A small way to pay attention to ordinary life and leave a little bit of it here.
